This course aims to introduce learners to various STEM career opportunities and pathways. It covers topics such as STEM careers in schools and the job market, gender stereotypes in STEM education, and the benefits of external school-to-work programs. The course teaches skills such as career induction activities, balancing the roles of teachers, mentors, and parents, and organizing career orientation events in STEM. The teaching method includes modules on different aspects of STEM careers, with a workload of 2-3 hours per week over 8 weeks. This course is intended for individuals interested in exploring and pursuing careers in STEM fields.
